Leading RECKLI

How do you lead a company whose motto is Together. Creating the extraordinary.? In this interview, Managing Directors Lutz Hammer and Andreas Delklock, together with authorised signatory Sven Kosjak, talk about the RECKLI Formula as the foundation of their culture – honesty, reliability, trust and respect – what makes RECKLI a good place to work, and why appreciation, open communication and room for initiative matter just as much as results.

How would you describe the current company culture at RECKLI?

Our company culture is based on the RECKLI Formula: honesty, reliability, trust and respect form the foundation of our day-to-day collaboration. We foster a culture of openness and actively encourage initiative and an innovative mindset. A strong team spirit is another key element – we support each other, pull together and tackle challenges as one. You can feel that in the way we interact with one another every day.

What makes RECKLI a good employer for you?

RECKLI creates a space where people can grow. Every day, we experience this special mix of a family-like atmosphere and high professional standards. It’s not only about skills and expertise – the person behind them matters just as much.

RECKLI is characterised by a strong company culture based on teamwork and open communication. We continuously invest in the development of our employees and offer numerous opportunities for professional growth. Flexible working hours and the option to work from home support a healthy work-life balance. A pleasant working environment and genuine appreciation for our employees’ contributions are what make RECKLI a great place to work.

Which values are particularly important to you and why?

For us, honesty and communication on an equal footing are especially important, because that’s the only way to build real trust and authentic collaboration. Appreciation is the driving force that motivates our team and brings us closer together. Reliability and a sense of responsibility are essential if we want to achieve ambitious goals together. Innovation and the courage to embrace change keep us moving forward and help us stay one step ahead. And in the end, teamwork makes the difference – together, we are stronger.

Our guiding principle is: “Together. Creating the extraordinary.” What do these individual words mean to you in relation to RECKLI?

For us, “Together” means: all for one and one for all – and we’re able to laugh together about the little mishaps along the way.

“Extraordinary” means that we’re not satisfied with average. We always look for what’s special – even if that sometimes means taking unconventional paths.

“Creating” simply means: not talking things to death, but getting on with it – and enjoying what we do.

Which superpower would be particularly helpful in your job?

If we could choose a superpower for our work, it would be teleportation! We’d be able to move from one place to another in an instant. That wouldn’t just massively reduce travel time, it would also make collaboration between different locations and teams so much easier. No long commutes, no delays before meetings – just being right where we’re needed, straight away. It would take our efficiency and flexibility to a completely new level.

On top of that, we could visit customers all over the world in no time and strengthen our international relationships… and still be back home in time for the end of the working day.

My special moment at RECKLI

Andreas Delklock

For me, our celebrations have always been real highlights. It’s not primarily about the party itself, but about the time we spend together – the exchange with our employees and our many partners around the world. Our 35-year anniversary, the 50-year celebration, summer parties, our International Sales Meeting and many other events have all been great successes and brought us even closer together.

So the only question is: when’s the next big party?
