Reinforcement for our sales department: Stephanie Liebsch joined the team as an architectural consultant.
We welcomed Stephanie Liebsch to RECKLI at the beginning of the year. She now supports our German sales department as an architectural consultant with her experience in the architecture industry. Of course we want to hear more about Stephanie, so we’ve asked her a few questions.
You just finished your baptism of fire, so to speak, at RECKLI: five days at BAU, the most important trade fair for architecture and the construction industry. What was it like?
It was exciting and informative because I came into contact with a lot of different groups and gained some understanding of their different questions and needs. I got a kind of 360 view of all the RECKLI products. Architects, builders, project developers and construction companies were all very interested in RECKLI. On the one hand that's because we presented ourselves so well in the booth thanks to our marketing division. And especially because our technology and systems are still new to many people and we are promoting not just the product but an idea that's based primarily on the planner’s creativity.
I also really enjoyed working with my colleagues. The great trade fair booth attracted a lot of visitors who had a lot of questions. I was hardly at RECKLI for two weeks at the beginning of the fair, but thanks to the great training and the support of my colleagues on site, it turned out really well.
Did you already know about RECKLI before applying?
Yes, I come from the specialist publishing industry which focuses on concrete plants and architects. So I was already familiar with RECKLI: RECKLI was one of my customers while I worked there. The ad designs always stood out for me because they were professional, fresh and innovative. And the contact with RECKLI employees was positive because they were always really pleasant and open for discussions.
What convinced you about RECKLI?
The professional and innovative appearance of the company. I quickly realized while applying that RECKLI is a company I can identify with proudly. The new challenges for me at RECKLI were also very appealing.
What exactly are your duties and how does your job differ from other sales jobs?
My main duty is to promote the reputation of RECKLI among architects. We want to get to a place where we are already working with them during the planning phase because that makes the planning and execution more productive and effective on both sides. The architect is not the one who places the orders, so it’s not about advising or even sales but about inspiration and networking. That's where I come into the picture: As an architectural consultant, I can familiarize the planners with the different design options for the concrete. There are enough examples from 50 years of RECKLI’s history that show a broad range of applications I can use to inspire them.
How would you describe RECKLI after your first few weeks?
Professional, creative, innovative and open.
How would you like to personally contribute to RECKLI’s success?
I’m very ambitious, open and communicative. As an employee who represents RECKLI to the outside, these qualities are important because they allow me to establish strong and honest relationships with customers. I want to give them the feeling we’re a reliable partner and to strengthen RECKLI’s reputation and our customer's loyalty.
How do you usually spend your free time?
I like to meet friends in town or at the park, and I play piano to relax.
