Photo Concrete

Facades are designed in special ways with US Formliner formliners of the photo concrete category. Photo engraving formliners transfer photos onto concrete surfaces that are animated depending on the direction of the light. 3D formliners enable three-dimensional visualizations. US Formliner Artico sheets use the technology of deactivation to transfer these images onto the concrete.

Photo-engraving

Photo engraving formliners enable designing an image-like concrete surface. The motif is transferred into a milling-file on the computer and, depending on the resolution, produces fine to coarse relief-like surface patterns on the facade. Traveling sunlight creates various effects.

Artico

The US Formliner Artico sheets transfer photos and individual designs into concrete. An innovative technology of deactivation enables a point-by-point washing out of the concrete’s surface. The resulting light-dark effects permit a light-independent, two-dimensional visualization in the concrete.

3D-concrete

Concrete surfaces can be fashioned realistically with 3D formliners. On a computer, the original image is converted into a file for the CNC-cutter. The formliner that is cast on it creates a 3D structure which lets the image emerge on the facade.
