Prices & Calculations

Formliners guarantee excellent results and economical application. An overview of the factors that impact prices and example calculations.

Type of Surface Design

The greater the depth of a texture, the thicker the required formliner. This increases material usage and influences the overall cost. A flat wood or plaster texture with only a few millimetres of relief is more economical than a ribbed or wave pattern with a depth of several centimetres.

Component Dimensions

Our elastic formliners are designed for multiple uses. As a standard, they are engineered for up to 100 reuses. Formliners with lower reuse cycles, such as 10 or 50 pours, are typically produced in smaller formats.

These formats are dimensioned so they can be combined modularly to create surfaces of virtually any length and width. The more consistent your component dimensions, the more efficiently the formliners can circulate in production.

With increasing reuse, the cost per square metre of concrete surface decreases.

Actual Costs

Even under optimal planning conditions, the final costs are largely determined during production. The executing contractors define the production process and sequence – and with it the resulting cost structure. These decisions are reflected in the final quotation.

Each project comes with its own parameters that influence the actual cost of working with a formliner. For custom design requests (RECKLI UNIQUE), additional model-making costs apply.
