Recap of the 18th AMM Symposium: Creativity Meets AI
As a Program Partner Leader, RECKLI was not only present at the event but actively contributed to shaping its content – most notably through a special workshop designed for students of the Architecture Media Management program.
Workshop: From Idea to Concrete Exhibit – Structure Design With AI
At the heart of our involvement was a creative, hands-on workshop in which students explored new approaches to surface design. The objective was to use artificial intelligence to create innovative structure designs that were not only visually compelling but also feasible to produce.
As part of the Exhibition Design module, our expert Christian Czernio guided the students in molding their designs in silicone and evaluating their practicality. After the curing process, the silicone structures were used to produce real concrete casts. These were showcased during both days of the symposium. Additionally, we provided students with initial insights into material technology and the use of bio-based materials.
Insights, Exchange and Outlook
The workshop was more than just a creative playground—it offered a valuable opportunity for exchange between students, RECKLI experts, and other symposium attendees. The participants’ enthusiasm and curiosity were tangible, as was their interest in integrating digital tools even more deeply into future design processes.
