Formliner Grid Fix

Grid Fix formliners are used to manufacture precast concrete elements with a facing-brick surface. The bricks are placed into the formliner and securely held in position by the spacer ribs; for this, an A-grade selection with the tightest dimensional tolerances is recommended.
The bricks are cast directly into the concrete. This eliminates adhesion issues associated with bonded-on bricks, and repointing is not required. For processing, an internal vibrator must be used, as the bricks can slip out of the formliner on a vibrating table.
As standard, two Grid Fix models are available with a half-brick staggered bond:
Type 1: 52 mm × 240 mm
Type 2: 71 mm × 240 mm
The rib height is 3 mm in each case.
Any other dimensions, as well as alternative bond patterns, can be produced as custom forms on request.
