Surface Refinement

By washing the concrete surface, the cement is rinsed off and the aggregate exposed. This gives the surface a unique optical effect that is also non-slip. Deactivators and acidifiers can be used to create washed concrete.

Surface protection systems shield exposed concrete surfaces from moisture, dirt, and graffiti. Water in particular carries pollutants, microorganisms, and salts into the concrete surface.
