Skyliner, Warsaw, Poland

195 meters of outstanding design, technology and sustainable architecture: The Skyliner is an office building that sets standards down to the smallest detail. It’s no wonder then that the modern skyscraper has become the new landmark of the Wola district - one of the most dynamically developing parts of Warsaw. This is also due to the great location. All important points of Poland’s capital can be reached quickly and easily from the Wola district.

In the spirit of sustainability

However, at the beginning of the project, the architects from APA Wojciechowski Architekci had to ask themselves how to create a skyscraper that can serve its users for many years. The client wanted a timeless building that is all about sustainable architecture. Accordingly, value was not only placed on modern technology that increases the comfort of use of the building, but also on installed air filter systems and ecological solutions to save water and energy. This earned the building a BREEAM certificate of “Excellent”.

Connecting element: RECKLI 1/199 Bohemia

The Skyliner  - Karimpol Group’s investment - is already a characteristic element of Warsaw’s city silhouette. The slender tower rises above a wide, glazed, 16-meter-high base, which gives the impression that the upper part of the building is floating above the ground. The most important architectural element of the Skyliner – a modern skyscraper in Warsaw that was designed by APA Wojciechowski Architects for Karimpol Group – is a wall of architectural concrete, which connects a completely glazed hall, a 195-meter tower and the top of the building.

For this wall – called “The Blade” by its architects – our concrete formliner 1/199 Bohemia from the RECKLI SELECT series was used. Discover more in our slider below or check out our showroom to read more:. Our textured formliner 1/199 Bohemia from the RECKLI SELECT series was used for this wall. The clear and smooth ribbed texture was used both on the facade and in the interior over a total of 720 m2. Just 5.7 m2 of our hand-made formliners were required for this.

A new landmark for Warsaw

With the Skyliner, an elegant building has been created that not only stands out architecturally, but also provides its users with an extremely modern working environment in the most sustainable way possible. And with the two-story Skybar it also offers a spectacular view over Warsaw.
