A Story Immortalized in Concrete
The approximately 1,400-square-metre winery was built directly beside its own vineyards. Its modern design is driven by more than aesthetics: the building was consistently planned around the processes of wine production – from receiving the freshly harvested grapes to their controlled cooling and processing.
The clear, functional architecture creates a deliberate contrast with the natural backdrop of the vineyards and the nearby Andes. At the same time, the façade design creates a connection between these two worlds.
The winery’s story reflected in the façade
Grapes, wine bottles, filled glasses and the landscape surrounding the winery define the concrete façade of Finca del Enlace. The selected motifs come directly from the world of the winery, making its origins and its product an integral part of the architecture.
Using RECKLI Photo-Engraving, these images were permanently captured on the large-format concrete surfaces. The façade thus becomes a visual narrative of the place, the vineyards and the wine produced here.
The motifs are particularly striking in interaction with sunlight. Depending on the angle of the light and the viewer’s perspective, contours and details become more or less prominent. As a result, the perception of the concrete façade changes throughout the day and as viewers move past it.

A winery that reveals its origins
Finca del Enlace demonstrates how concrete can go far beyond its structural function and become a medium for storytelling. Rather than separating the winery from its surroundings, the façade incorporates the characteristic imagery of the place.
Wine, landscape and architecture merge into a unified composition. The story of Finca del Enlace is therefore told not only through its wine – it is permanently immortalized in its façade.
