Wola Village, Kraków, Poland
In the prestigious villa district of Wola Justowska, a unique residential enclave has taken shape in 2024: Wola Village. Contemporary townhouses combine the comfort and luxury of a holiday resort—including a private park and a wide range of services—while offering a nature-oriented, health-promoting living environment. Developed by the Urba Group, the project fuses an urban lifestyle with sustainability and a close bond to nature.
Architecture and ambience
Designed by architect Maciej Kronenberg (Urba Architects), Wola Village nestles harmoniously in its verdant surroundings. Expansive window façades and terraces draw the outdoors in, while the thoughtful arrangement of volumes ensures privacy and a sense of security. A striking skin of textured exposed concrete defines the development and bestows an unmistakable character on the quarter.
Strong partnership: MABUDO × RECKLI
The collaboration between Mabudo and RECKLI unites decades of expertise in concrete design and fabrication. United by a shared vision: premium exposed-concrete architecture where aesthetics, technical sophistication and sustainability are perfectly aligned. Wola Village makes this ambition tangible—its façade design gives the district an unmistakable identity and stands for lasting quality and a healthy living environment.
Textured concrete as a design element
The townhouse façades were individually crafted using RECKLI formliners, giving the neighbourhood its distinctive face. The interplay of relief and smooth surfaces creates a vibrant composition that lends each house a refined, high-quality appearance.
Two patterns from the RECKLI SELECT series were employed: vertical ribs realised with formliner 1/245 Nevada articulate the façades with fine lines and varying depths, while smooth concrete areas cast with formliner 2/81 Plafond introduce calm contrasts that underscore the architecture’s elegant clarity. The concrete was integrally coloured with pigments, imparting a warm, natural hue. The panels, produced by Mabudo as C30/37 sandwich elements, deliver clear design value while remaining robust and weather-resistant.
