Forward-Looking Urban Living

With Pagewood Centro Uccello, a new landmark is rising in Eastgardens, a suburb of Sydney. The two residential towers, each 20 storeys high, will be the tallest buildings in the area and form part of the master-planned Pagewood Centro community.

Designed by the renowned architecture firm Woods Bagot, the project places great emphasis on seamless integration into the urban context. Overlooking parks, golf courses, beaches and universities, it offers a living concept that marries quality of life with urban convenience. A lively open-air passage lined with cafés, restaurants and retail outlets links the complex to the new town centre.

Expressive Brick Texture with Formliners

The goal was a high-end façade that is both architecturally ambitious and economically viable. The interplay of formliners, sophisticated design and precast technology enabled rapid, weather-independent construction while preserving exceptional design quality.

In collaboration with the precast plant Advanced Precast, a brick pattern was realised using RECKLI formliners in specially pigmented fair-faced concrete. The result is a façade that traditional masonry could scarcely achieve. The relief-like clinker texture, interrupted by gold lines and framed by dark window bands, lends the envelope a striking, contemporary character.

A Defining Presence in the Urban Landscape

Pagewood Centro Uccello makes a significant contribution to enhancing the urban realm. The project not only provides urgently needed housing but also actively nurtures the development of a vibrant, mixed neighbourhood. Its distinctive façade, shaped by formliners, endows the twin towers with a strong visual identity and sets bold architectural accents in the public sphere.
