Diesel Concept Store, New York, USA

The denim brand has finished its concept store in the American metropolis with a unique façade.

It’s not the window but the façade of the Diesel concept store that draws the eye of passers-by in New York. A three-dimensional triangle pattern wraps around the store, making the base stand out from the surrounding glass façades.

The unusual pattern is inspired by the V-shaped stitching found on this denim brand’s products. It was designed by Masamichi Katayama at the Japanese design studio Wonderwall.

RECKLI provided two-component plastic PUR elastomer A45 for the production of elastic textured formliners, which were used to apply the unique pattern to the concrete façade. The precast concrete elements were produced by Italian specialists Archiform.
