At the Celler Werktag event, the first issue of the RECKLI magazine FORMLINER was honored with the silver award of the Architects’ Darling Award.
Company magazines are nominated in the category architects’ company magazines that cover industry-relevant background information, object- and experience-reports on the in-house products for architects. FORMLINER impressed the panel of judges with its selection of topics, case studies and the layout. “No other magazine inspired the jury members more (grade 1.5)”, is stated in the explanation.
A panel of 13 architects and 5 communications experts reviewed a total of 11 magazines in the categories “look and feel”, “content and benefit”, “performance” and “global satisfaction”. FORMLINER was described as “surprisingly different”, by the committee. The judges especially liked the “immensely accessible visuals”, the “great peek behind the scenes” and the “extraordinary photos with a great potential to excite”.
The Architects’ Darling Award is initiated by Heinze and has been annually awarded since 2011 at the Celler Werktag. The most innovative products in 24 categories are determined in Germany’s largest survey of architects. In addition, the judges review the most successful projects in seven marketing disciplines.
The initial issue of the RECKLI magazine FORMLINER was published in early 2015. The first edition reported on highlights in the area of architectural concrete and took a look behind the scenes at the RECKLI plant in Herne. The next edition of FORMLINER will be released in April 2016. The conceptualization and implementation fall to the communications agency ONEWORX in Essen.
